Over the past 20 years, our members have rallied together to support both local and international causes, reinforcing our shared values of solidarity, responsibility, and generosity.

Supporting Street Children in Brazil
Meninos de Rua
Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
One of our most cherished international projects, this initiative supports at-risk children in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, giving them access to safe shelter, education, and a future beyond the streets. ✨ Impact: Over 200 children have received schooling, mentorship, and social support. ❤ How we helped: Our fundraising has funded after-school programs, mentorship initiatives, and daily meals for children in need.

Education & Social Assistance
Opera Don Orione
Location: Italy, Madagascar, Ukraine
With a deep commitment to education and social care, we have supported the Opera Don Orione, which provides shelter, medical aid, and schooling to disadvantaged children and families. ✨Impact: Funding scholarships, improving school infrastructure, and providing essential healthcare services. ❤ How we helped: Proceeds from our charity dinners and auctions have helped renovate schools, offer free education, and provide medical aid.

Protecting Our Local Environment
Spiritus Mundi
Location: Italy (Triveneto Region)
We believe that sustainability begins at home. In partnership with Spiritus Mundi ONLUS, we have actively supported reforestation efforts and ecosystem restoration in Italy, ensuring that the beauty of nature is preserved for future generations. ✨Impact: Hundreds of trees planted in deforested areas, creating a lasting environmental legacy. ❤ How we helped: Funds raised at our events contributed to tree planting, environmental education programs, and local conservation efforts. Check out the interview with the Communication manager at Spiritus Mundi and how we help in their mission to safeguard our local environment.

Women & Children’s Support Programs
CIF - Centro Italiano Femminile
Location: Veneto, Italy
Centro Italiano Femminile (CIF) has been a recipient of our support, helping to fund programs that assist women and children in need, providing education, vocational training, and emergency shelter. Thanks to our esteemed Confrére Rina, one of the very first projects to become part of Sciabole Solidali was the Chernobyl children relief program. After the nuclear disaster, many families in the Veneto region opened their homes to welcome children arriving from Ukraine during the summer months. These stays were not just a holiday but an opportunity for the children to receive medical care, proper nutrition, and a safe environment, far from the radioactive contamination. ✨ Impact: The children showed visible health improvements, gaining up to 4-5 kg in weight during their stay, thanks to a balanced diet and proper medical care. ❤ How we helped: We organized fundraising events to ensure medical treatment, essential supplies, and financial aid for both the children and the host families.

A helping hand for our four-legged friends!
Animal shelter
Location: Lazio (Amatrice), Italy
After the devastating earthquake in Amatrice, many pets were left homeless, starving, and without care. Thanks to a call for help from our Confrére Teresa, and with the support of Mira Civil Protection Volunteers, the Confrérie responded to the emergency by launching a fundraising campaign to assist the local animal shelter, ensuring care for dogs, cats, and other displaced animals. ✨ Impact: Donation and delivery of two large shipments of food for dogs and cats, providing long-term support for pets left without a family. ❤ How we helped: With the support of Civil Protection Volunteers in Mira (Venezia) and dedicated transport services, we delivered canned food and large sacks of pet food to the local shelter. Additionally, thanks to the generosity of the Arcaplanet store in Mira, we secured a special discount on purchased supplies, amplifying the impact of our contribution.
